asked - we're answering: on the knitty pattern, the older girl is wearing a gorgeous tulle skirt and the answer is...yes...we made it!!! It was easy. So...we took two lengths of tulle, 5 yards each and cut it into pieces 3 inches wide. To make life easier, we used a rotary cutting tool, straight edge and cutting board. Also, we used two shades of tulle - a burgandy and light pink for depth. Then, while watching your favorite reality television show (OK - Christine is a reality show junkie, not Paula) tie each tulle length around a elastic round cut and sewn to the child's waist measurements. You could also use a piece of ribbon and tie it. Keep tying, alternating colors of tulle.
